This year I have found a beautiful poppy field which is local to me near Winchester. The poppies are looking stunning at the moment and what better time to have a family mini session amongst the poppies.

Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait to get back outdoors after a long wet and windy winter! I thought I would put a guide together to help you with how to plan for your family photo shoot. Ideas on where best to have the photo shoot? What to expect? What’s the best time of the day? What style of photos do you like? These are all important factors to take on board when looking to book your family session.
This time of year is always thought of by many as not a great time of the year for Lifestyle Family Portrait Photography, especially as January tends to be a very cold month. However many of my clients are still interested in having their family session during the winter months but are curious about how their photos will turn out. Will they still look as bright and as colourful at this time of year.
I would like to share a family photography shoot that I did autumn last year. As the trees start to make the transition away from summer, the colour shifting from green to a mix of bright orange, yellow and reds, makes for a wonderful backdrop for photographs.
